We are a small group of dedicated volunteers doing all we can to save as many as we can. At this time all of our pets are being fostered by our volunteers. Although Safe Haven is a new organization all of our volunteers have been in animal rescue for years.
We are in the process of incorporating our organization and obtaining our 501 C 3 - non profit status.We could always use foster homes, the more fosters we have the more animals that we can save. Help for Elvis (Please Read)
This is Elvis, he is a 10 month old Catahoula/Pit mix who is friendly, playful and just a big goof. He has been in rescue since he was a small puppy and is waiting to be adopted by his forever family. He has hip dysplasia, a developmental orthopedic disease in which an abnormal formation of the hip leads to looseness in the hip joints, causing cartilage damage. There is surgery to correct this disease in canines, which is basically a total hip replacement. This surgery is very likely to result in a complete recovery of dysplasia. This surgery is at the least $2,500.00. We are asking for donations so Elvis can have this surgery and live a long, happy life.
